Maribou State team up with MOBO-nominated artist Andreya Triana to deliver euphoric, genre-blurring electronic track, ‘All I Need’.
Blending Triana’s smooth heartfelt vocals with glitchy drum patterns and an ambient melody, the record channels the likes of Aphex Twin. The electronic duo elaborated, “on Hallucinating Love we made a conscious effort to stop using garage-style vocals, so used some Andreya Triana samples. We’d wanted to work with Andreya for ages and played her a few ideas, it became a whole Andreya tune where she’s effectively duetting with herself.”
Later this year, the band will embark on a huge European tour, with over 45,000 tickets sold. Due to overwhelming demand, which saw the first two shows sell out within hours, the band added a third night at London’s iconic Alexandra Palace this February.
These shows will be a triumphant moment for the duo, following Chris Davids’ recent return to the studio after undergoing major surgery for a rare brain condition. Following these dates, in Spring 2025, Maribou State will head across the pond for their North American tour.
Evocative and experimental, this beautifully produced single is the perfect start to 2025, leaving us all excited for what the album has to offer.
New album ‘Hallucinating Love‘ is out on 31 January via Ninja Tune.
