Night Tapes release another blissful track in latest single ‘storm’ with floaty instrumentals and spellbinding vocals
London-based three-piece, Night Tapes, continue to tease their upcoming debut record, portals//polarities, this time via the enchanting new tune – โstormโ.
The trio of electronic producers, consisting of Iiris Vesik, Max Doohan and Sam Richards, have developed quite the audience since the turn of the decade with their own brand of atmosphere electronic music and electro-pop – becoming famed for their unique soundscapes, dreamy guitar-work, spacey synths and truly ethereal, otherworldly noise.
โstormโ is four minutes of electronic bliss. A drum beat to dance to, spellbinding vocals and an instrumental to float away to – the threesome have squeezed what feels like a feature-length film into a relatively short piece of music.
Getting better as it goes on, โstormโ feels like a journey – almost hitting a peak of sorts towards the end. It is transcendent, it possesses a blinding ambience and it feels like a break from the world outside – a beautiful trip, if you will.
โstormโ is yet another step in the correct direction for the groupโs debut full-length record to be a triumphant success. With every track feeling like a piece of day-to-day life trapped in a bottle. Night Tapes are track-by-track making their way to the status of bonafide legends in their niche.
Night Tapes’ debut album ‘portals//polarities‘ is out September 26th.
