SASAMI teams up with Clairo for ‘In Love With A Memory,’ the new single from her upcoming album
Soon-to-be indie-pop icon SASAMI is amping herself up for the impending release of her third album, ‘Blood On The Silver Screen’, with her new single, ‘In Love With a Memory’. She has teamed up with the beloved Clairo to create a wistful and melodramatic track about heartbreak and change.
SASAMI’s haunting vocals are accompanied by vintage style synths, crashing cymbals and an exhilarating guitar solo, giving the tune a cinematic feel and matching the name of the new album. Its theatrics wouldn’t be misplaced in the final fade-out scene of a blockbuster movie and the single cover artwork echoes the film poster for Tom Cruise’s infamous romance adventure film, ‘Far and Away’.
‘Blood On The Silver Screen’ is out on 7th March via Domino.
