Today; South London based band DEADLETTER released ‘Fit For Work’, a critical and angered look at the harsh reality of bureaucratic cruelty. With seemingly exaggerated lyricism and storylines rooted in the experience of the working class, frontman Zac Woodly brutally parallels the song’s narrator with the real world British government.
Originally from Yorkshire, DEADLETTER have made a name for themselves as intense and chaotic hedonists touring with bands such as Squid, Viagra Boys and Avalanche Party. ‘Fit For Work’ is an attribute to their already established reputation splicing hard-hitting conversational verses with chaotic saxophone choruses.
