2019 saw the release of Joe Keery’s solo project Djo and his debut album ‘Twenty Twenty’, this month he returns with new single ‘Keep Your Head Up.’ The new release is an amalgamation of his usual psych-pop sound combined with funk elements, influence by the likes of George Clinton and Prince.
Djo had major festival dates and a touring schedule planned for 2020 but after having to put plans on hold, returned to the studio to release the new single. Joe Keery previously was playing in Post Animal, a heavy psych rock band, who toured with the likes of Twin Peaks, Wavves and Cage The Elephant, as well as a number of US festivals.
