The five guys that make up Easy Life have just released their single Daydreams, with the rest of their highly anticipated debut album to follow shortly.

The track takes the 1970’s classic, ‘Day Dreaming’ by Aretha Franklin and twists it on its head. Leading band member, Murray Matravers, discusses the inspiration behind the song which was “Born out of boredom and idleness, ‘Daydreams’ is as much about getting drunk as it is about falling in and out of love”.

Easy Life first appeared on the music scene in 2017 and have since made a name for themselves claiming ‘Best New British Act’ at this year’s NME Awards. The success of their latest EP ‘Junk Food’  which was released earlier this year championed the Leicester based musicians into becoming the UK’s biggest new band.

Easy Life now optimistically proceed to release their latest work, as they see opportunities arise since the effects of COVID-19 have become present within the music industry.

Easy Life are set to go on tour next spring 2021, with one date taking place in London’s notorious Roundhouse, but for now the guys encourage us all to have a little daydream.
