Grammy-award nominated Jordan Rakei has announced his new album ‘The Loop’ with stunning new single ‘Freedom’
‘Freedom‘ combines tender choral accompaniments that blend richly with the track’s tight groove. The guitar’s low, split riff provides an authentic introduction to Jordan Rakei’s soulful voice with its succinct lyrics that immediately take you on a journey through life’s big themes.
The bass brings grandeur to the track, complimenting the vocals, the striking quality of sound building harmonically. The melody engages the ‘Freedom‘ lyrics with compassion; it’s scenic with a force that resonates.
‘Freedom‘ coats you in an energy that vibrates through your solar plexus, invoking empathy and awareness, finding positivity in some of life’s darker realities. The composition has a chilled soul/R&B tenderness that is ardent with the juxtaposition of the powerful lyrics. ‘Freedom‘ is a striking piece of polished music that blazes with sentiment.
Jordan Rakei’s UK/EU autumn tour includes two headline performances at the Royal Albert Hall and BBC 6 Music Festival in March. His new album, ‘The Loop’, is available to pre-order HERE.
