Brighton goth-punk ELLiS·D has announced the release date of upcoming EP ‘Spill’ accompanied by the release of its closing track ‘Drifting’
Brighton’s ELLiS·D has announced that his sophomore EP, ‘Spill’ is set to be released on 21st March via Crafting Room Recordings. Alongside the announcement is new single ‘Drifting‘.
the seven-minute closing track to ELLiS·D‘s EP sees a satisfying interplay between vocals and instrumental, making the long runtime feel not long enough. Without diving too deeply into it, this interplay develops into a feeling of conflict throughout the track, one which absolutely suits the more gothic inspired tone which the song centres around.
The creative freedom in the song is evident too and you can’t help but feel that Dickinson’s sound is entirely his own. If this feeling carries on throughout each song on the EP, it’ll be one to look forward to.
ELLiS·D is set to perform shows across England and Europe on his own and also supporting Fat Dog, Avalanche Party, and The DSM IV, where I’m sure this song will sound it’s very best.
