Eccentric pop-punk four-piece hailing from the south coast, FLOWVERS, are back with a bang with the new single ‘Far Away’ in tow. Their reputation precedes them – and for all the right reasons. After touring with the likes of JAWS, Swim Deep, and Black Honey, the band have gone from strength to strength with their high-energy releases and intoxicating cuts.

Speaking about the track the band say, “‘Far Away was written over the last two years. The initial hook was what Stan used to play when warming up in rehearsals and it morphed into the intro and then it was plain sailing from there.”

“We jammed it and it became more and more apparent that when we came to record it would need a big sound. The lyrics talk about angst, a recurrent theme in our songs. Lines like ‘Take me so far away’ captured the feeling of a lockdown where one may have felt like they had nowhere to go. We hope everyone enjoys the song.”

The compelling indie anthem ‘Far Away’ oozes adrenaline and primal percussion in a new and exciting turn for the band. Their energy-infused sound is heavy with irresistible hooks and insurmountable passion that is sporadically matched in the modern-day music scene.
