Haggard Cat has come crawling out of the gutter with their dirty, gritty and infectious riff machine ‘Bone Shaker’. The single is taken from their forthcoming album ‘Challenger’ set for release 20th April via Earache Records.
To accompany the explosive single is an innovative music video that guitarist/vocalist Matt Reynolds explains as “inspired by Japanese Kabuki Theatre”. He continues “We found footage of a crazy Japanese gameshow where contestants would act out given scenes using mime. We completely underestimated how much effort, coordination and timing goes into the art. Every prop you see in the video is homemade by us and everything that happens we acted out with a group of friends in one room”.Â
The single sprawls across the three minute mark and is unrelenting in it’s pulsating energy. The huge hook and devilishly infectious riff is sure to cause injury from headbanging.
