Hypophora and Cousin Buzz have announced a joint headline tour for this November which sees the two South West bands play, Truro, Plymouth, Bristol and Northampton.
Organised in a strictly ‘Old School’ ‘DIY’ fashion, the tour started out as the brainchild of Hypophora’s Karum Cooper. Due to having always found it difficult to come across South West bands that share a vision, ethos, and most importantly a similar sound.
Both Hypophora and Cousin Buzz cite the Chili Peppers as one of their biggest influences – lead guitarists Karum and Arthur have also both praised RHCP guitarist John Frusciante to be one of their biggest idols both musically and otherwise. It was this mutual love and fascination for genre-bending and quirky alternative rock that brought the two bands together.
