The American rock icons will play London’s Gunnersbury Park on Sunday 16th August and will be joined by special guests Rise Against & more!
The show will be one of the first chances for UK fans to see Jimmy Eat World perform ‘Bleed American‘, released in 2001, in full. The album, which went on to influence bands such as Fall Out Boy, Paramore and The Wonder Years, is certified Platinum in the US and Gold in the UK.
The news follows a busy year for Jimmy Eat World, who are currently making new music, recently releasing of their latest EP ‘Something Loud’ an acclaimed set at Download Festival and a North American tour.
Jim Adkins says, “When we printed the last mix of Bleed American, we felt like we had achieved something great for ourselves. There was no barometer of how it would connect with people outside of the studio and we are still in awe with the life the record and songs have had since their original release. Bleed American is as much yours as it is ours, so we want to celebrate it with you all in a very special way.”
Joining Jimmy Eat World at Gunnersbury Park as special guests will be emo-anthem pioneers Rise Against, as well as The Get Up Kids and Jay Som.
Jimmy Eat World shall play Gunnersbury Park, London, on Sunday 16th August 2026. Tickets go on general sale on Friday 5th December at 10am.
