Jonny Herman channels his inner crooner with latest single ‘Old Romantics’
Hailing from the land of Alan Partridge and Colemans Mustard comes the self-described rock n roll crooner Jonny Herman. His music is a blend of suave delivery mixed with The Last Shadow Puppets sensibility, all wrapped up in a Alex Turner delivery, but perhaps whittier and sharper than the latter.
Recently, Jonny dropped his latest single ‘Old Romantics’, a track that boasts his ability to craft comedic yet daringly infectious music. Opening with a burst of acoustic guitar that leads into his effortlessly cool vocals which instantly draw you in. We are taken on a subtle yet wildly creative journey that treats us to an array of sounds, from the bursting saxophone, dancing keys, through to the simplistic yet effective guitar, it’s all bundled into a fantastic package that only gets better with every listen.
