Brighton punk duo Lambrini Girls announce debut album, ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’ and drop new single ‘Big Dick Energy’

Following several singles and their debut EP ‘You’re Welcome’ in 2023, Brighton punk duo Lambrini Girls have announced their highly anticipated debut album ‘Who Let The Dogs Out,’ out on 10th January via City Slang.

A firm fan favourite on so many festival lineups, Lambrini Girls’ brutal honesty, political fearlessness and straightforward punk bangers have quickly launched them to the top of the scene. Helping to bring this vicious energy from the stage to the studio is Gilla Band’s Daniel Fox on production, with mixing by Seth Manchester (Mdou Moctar, Model/Actriz).

Their new single ‘Big Dick Energy’ is classic Lambrini Girls. At 4 minutes, longer than any track on the previous EP, the track is a relentless and furiously angry prolonged scream. Phoebe Lunny’s vocals are as unhinged as always, leaping from patronising sarcasm to unfiltered rage in a second. Instrumentally, the track is huge, underlaid by a brutally heavy distorted bass tone and a monstrous drum performance.

The duo share: โ€œMan comes in many forms, from world leaders to tech CEOs and humble softboys. But what unites them? Society has celebrated their supposed massive figurative and literal dicks, which they constantly flaunt. Why? Toxic masculinity.โ€
