As well as touring North America, Claire Rosinkranz drops new single ‘Sad In Hawaii’, blending deep-cutting lyrics with an upbeat instrumental

19-year-old singer-songwriter Claire Rosinkranz delivers another hit via slowplay/Republic Records, the first of many for this year, with her album soon to be announced. She is currently touring North America with special guests DWLLRS and Mehro and tickets are going fast!

This song, ‘Sad In Hawaii’, focuses on how a less-than-comfortable situation can alter your view of where you are no matter how pretty that place may be, essentially associating a bad experience with a place.

The upbeat bass pairs beautifully with her deep-cutting lyrics on a personal experience. “How could it be eighty degrees under the sun, but I’m negative three”. Being a Gen-Z figure her lyrics capture what it is like to grow up today. These relatable lyrics are topped with influences of electronic, pop and a tinge of punk; this single is a banger.

Claire came to the spotlight with her TikTok hit singleBackyard Boy , leading her to win an MTV award for “Best Breakthrough Song” in 2021. Her fanbase has developed into 1 billion global streams and she has performed at festivals such as Lollapalooza.
