Dublin indie artist Kynsy signs to Nice Swan Records and drops brand new single ‘Money,’ ahead of supports with Do Nothing and Honeymoan
Joining CLUNK favourites English Teacher, Opus Kink and SPRINTS at Nice Swan Records is up-and-coming Dublin indie artist Kynsy.
New single ‘Money‘ follows her debut EP ‘Things That Don’t Exits’ and most recent ‘Something To Do With Love’. The track is an indie banger, catchy as hell and just noisy enough to keep your interest.
The guitars sound incredible here, with fuzzy riffs opening the track, before reverbed descending scales wash over you. Kynsy’s vocals are lush, confident as a pop star but never too polished. As she repeats “I’ll be okay,” you’ll feel equal parts comforted and concerned. The instrumental is summery and warm, sitting somewhere between Alvvays and Soccer Mommy.
On the track, Kynsy says: โโMoneyโ is a song about the depths of love, nostalgia, and longing, painting a vivid picture of emotional complexity. Through references to past memories, desires for something more, and a mix of conflicting emotions like love, tears, and uncertainty, I explore the intricate journey of the heart.”
A solid indie rock tune, ‘Money’ is bound to flood playlists this summer and you can catch Kynsy supporting Do Nothing and Honeymoan soon.
