BST’s second sold-out day saw 65,000 fans gather under gloomy skies for an unforgettable all-woman lineup with headliner Sabrina Carpenter

First to take on the Great Oak Stage was Amber Mark, the stunning and close friend of Sabrina herself. Despite the rain cutting Amber Mark’s set heartbreakingly short, spirits stayed high as fans turned puddles into dance floors.

Olivia Dean took the stage next, opening with her new single ‘Nice To Each Other‘. Her magnetic stage presence captivated both loyal fans and newcomers, undoubtedly earning her a fresh wave of followers. Her varied setlist included Lady Lady,‘ another new single from her forthcoming album ‘The Art of Loving‘(out September 26th), which she teased to roaring cheers from the crowd.

Her outstanding vocals shone through fan favourites like ‘Dive‘ and ‘The Hardest Part,‘ along with the beloved ‘It Isn’t Perfect But It Might Be‘ from Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy. Even under grey skies, Olivia turned the park into her own sunlit stage and proved she’s only just getting started.

The indie it-girl Clairo opened with ‘Second Nature’, from her Grammy-nominated album ‘Charm‘. Her effortless elegance transformed the stage, her movements calm yet magnetic, holding the crowd in a gentle trance. Her beautifully crafted set, echoing the warmth of her solo tour, created an intimate, homely vibe that made her genuine bond with her bandmates shine through.

She treated fans to favourites like ‘Bags‘ and delighted long-time listeners with an if-you-know-you-know throwback ‘Flamin’ Hot Cheetos’. Midway through, Clairo grinned and asked the crowd if they were “feeling a little sexy too” before launching into her recent hit ‘‘Sexy to Someone’.‘ She closed with ‘Sofia‘, sending the crowd into a sway. It was a perfect, heartfelt finale for an unforgettable support act lineup.

After much anticipation, with fans queuing for hours and waiting all day, Sabrina Carpenter finally took the stage. At just 26, her meteoric rise has cemented her as one of today’s most captivating performers. Her stunning blend of glamour and Betty Boop charm has propelled her to massive success. Though her fame may feel sudden, she’s no overnight sensation: after getting her start on the Disney Channel, she’s released six albums so far. Her latest, ‘Short n Sweet,‘ earned her two Grammy Awards.

Kicking off the night with ‘Busy Women‘, it was clear just how hungry the crowd was for this moment. the energy was ecstatic and fans were jumping and singing every word. She delivered fan favourites like ‘Please Please Please, Taste, and ‘Bed Chem‘ with effortless charisma.

While night one left some hoping for a surprise guest that never came, Sabrina made up for it on night two, bringing out British icons Duran Duran for a euphoric duet of ‘Hungry Like the Wolf,‘ channeling pure British pop energy. The mums and dads in the crowd being just as (if not more) excited as their children. One of the night’s highlights was her beloved ‘Juno‘, which saw the stunning Ayo Edebiri and Clairo appear as her handcuffed “Juno girls” – complete with a playful nod to Charli XCX’s viral “Apple Girl” dance.

She closed the show with ‘Espresso‘, her undeniable hit of last year. Not even stormy skies could dampen the magic with people dancing, screaming, and celebrating this powerhouse of pop. A night for the books.
