The New Single Is A Summer Anthem To Awaken Your Inner Child

Brighton-based musician Lucy Feliz has dropped a new single, ‘Last Laugh’ which captures the curiosity and light-heartedness of being young.

This is the second single from Feliz’ forthcoming new album ‘Last Of The Sun’ which is due for release on 28th August via OK Pal Records. ‘Last Laugh’ has already built up traction in the weeks since its premiere, being featured on the ‘Working From Home Mix’ as part of the BBC Introducing Isolation Mixes. Her debut album, ‘Ancestry’, gained a series of acclaim and led to support slots with the likes of Tiny Ruins and Laura Viers.

‘Last Laugh’ proves to be the perfect Dream Pop tune to lead you into a socially distanced summer, with whimsical lyrics to match the playful music video released alongside it. The video offers a deep dive into Feliz’s nostalgic dream-world filled with eccentric props and graded to colours reminiscent of a Wes Anderson film. The video was self-directed and edited by Felix and was filmed by Tila Kukkonen who plays in Feliz’s live band.
