LA Post Hardcore group Touché Amoré have announced the release of their fourth studio album, titled ‘Stage Four’.
The record arrives following sessions in early 2016 with producer Brad Wood, and is set for release on 16th September, the band releasing their first album since signing with Epitaph.
In discussion with NPR, vocalist Jeremy Bolm explained that the thematic meaning behind the record was from his own personal stance; telling the story of his life spent with his mother, who passed away in 2014.
It’s immediately evident on the first single taken from the record, ‘Palm Dreams’; the familiar brazen rhythm of the group met with Bolm’s distinctive and emotional narrative, as he questions why his mother moved across America in the 1970s. Listen to ‘Palm Dreams’ below.
