Todayย Wireย are sharing new track โ€˜Internal Exileโ€™ย from their upcoming mini-album โ€˜Nocturnal Koreansโ€™,ย which is dueย April 29thย via pinkflag.

The synthetic, waltzing gait of โ€˜Internal Exileโ€™ย channels the spirit of underappreciated โ€™80sย Wireย but relocates it in a broader landscape, intriguingly fleshed out with Matthew Simmsโ€™s lap-steel guitar and, for the first time in Wireโ€™s history, trumpet. While managing to avoid joining โ€œthe queue of future has-beensโ€ย mentioned in Graham Lewisโ€™s lyric, the band are looking forwards and backwards simultaneously.
