Mothman, The Man drop their third and final single before their upcoming second album ‘Where’s Your Head?

Mothman, The Man are a strange and unpredictable beast. One minute, they are dropping the seriously silly but seriously hard Gigantopithecusand the next they are releasing something like their newest track ‘Too Long’.

‘Too Long’ is the third and final taste of their brand new album ‘Where’s Your Head?’, which is out on 19th April via Krautpop! It’s a considerably calmer and more reserved stroll through psychedelia, complete with wavy vocals, laid back drums and Mothman’s signature distorted guitar tone. Organs give the track a real 70s feel, while the repeated “too long, too long, too long” could come from any number of classic psychedelic releases.

Sonically, there is plenty of diversity that keeps ‘Too Long’ interesting all the way through. The first passage eases us in gently with jazzy organ, the second ramps things up with soaring guitars and the third explodes with chugging chords and bass, mad drum fills and all the drama we’ve come to expect from this special band.

Mothman, The Man have really taken control of their sound here, tastefully picking from their influences and confidently leading us along with them on their journey.
