Los Angeles’ Raised on TV have been causing a stir with the singles off their upcoming second album ‘Season 2’ and third single ‘Steal My Heart Away’ is sure to do the same.
A straight-to-the-point indie-rock jam, this tune doesn’t mess around, it hits you square in the chops from note one and maintain it’s driving pace through to the final lick. A dash of fuzz, some excellent twangy guitar tones and laid back floaty vocals all add to a perfect melodic and progressive track. The final third opens with a face melting solo before cutting back into the chorus before an abrupt end. Three minutes of punchy rock that anyone can get behind.
If this, and the previous singles, are anything to go by, their second album, being recorded at Dave Grohl’s studio, 606, should be an essential listen for any fans of the genre.
