Wunderhorse are on course for their moment, and their latest single ‘Arizona’ surely will not be knocking them off-path. The final single before their brand-new album ‘MIDAS’, coming Friday 30th August, ‘Arizona’ is classic guitar music with a soft hand: chorus laced with harmonies and gut-wrenching, raspy feeling from frontman Jacob Slater.
A hint of Americana written with a distinctly English hand, ‘Arizona’ is the well-timed melody-led track that would set them up perfectly for an Oasis support tour bid. It’s accessible, universal rock music that would be unlikely to turn a listener away, but leaves you wanting more – the perfect pre-album drop.
