Adding to their already huge lineup, Sound City announce yet another wave of acts to perform at the end of the month

Liverpoolโ€™s Sound City festival is taking place from 28th-30th April. The festival is known for showcasing the best new music, with previous alumni including Lizzo, Grimes and Stormzy, among many others at the beginning of their career.

Now, joining headliners Maisie Peters and Reytons is another wave of artists. These include, among many others, Olivia Dean, James Marriott, Retro Video Club and Declan Welsh and the Decadent West.ย

At this point, the lineup is looking stacked, with a nice range of genres, from the poppy headliners to more left-field names further down the list. Among these are the pop experimenters Courting, the genre-bending Malady and legendary live act Opus Kink.ย

Sound City is the UK lead festival for Keychange, the global movement to champion gender equality in music and its lineup is refreshingly diverse. Ahead of the weekend headliners, Sound City will be hosting a โ€˜New Music Fridayโ€™ night, warming up the crowds with new talent.ย
