Experimental rock group Squid announce yet another chunk of shows, this time in the form of in-stores and out-stores at various record shops

With two singles, a music video and even a video game recently released, Squid are masters at building hype. Their long-awaited sophomore album ‘O Monolith’ is out on 9th June and, to celebrate, they are heading around the UK for some intimate shows at record stores and local venues.

Heading off the day after the album release, Squid will visit a variety of stores, including Resident Brighton, Rough Trade East and Rough Trade Bristol. As well as this, some independent record shops have collaborated with local independent venues, hosting gigs at The Barrel House, Foundry Studio and Brudenell Social Club.

As if this wasn’t enough, the stores will be selling an exclusive cassette version of ‘O Monolith’ as well as the indie record stores having a very limited number of exclusive posters and stickers.

Tickets are available at 11am BST on Thursday 27th April. Get them here.

‘O Monolith’ is out on 9th June via Warp Records.
