Joining the band at Preston Park, Brighton, for the sellout show are The Flaming Lips, English Teacher, Cate Le Bon & Warmduscher.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are set to play their only UK show this year at Preston Park, Brighton, and it has been billed as a homecoming show for the band. Nick Cave adopted Brighton over two decades ago, with the South Coast city playing an integral role in shaping the bandโ€™s music and tone.

The Preston Park show is taking place on Friday July 31st and promises to take songs from all four decades of Nick Cave & The Bad Seedsโ€™ fabled career, including their latest album โ€˜Wild Godโ€™, which was a UK top 10 album in 2024.

Joining Cave are GRAMMY Award-winners The Flaming Lips, Mercury Prize winners English Teacher and Warmduscher, well-known for their wild and electrically charged sets. Mercury Prize-nominated Cate Le Bon will provide a different perspective on the band-heavy line up with her singular, artist-led approach, which will also fit nicely with some of the more experimental side of The Bad Seedsโ€™ work.

Speaking about the upcoming show in Brighton Nick Cave has said, โ€œI am thrilled beyond words to return to my beloved Brighton with The Bad Seeds to play Preston Park. Itโ€™s a homecoming! Itโ€™s going to be big, bad and beautiful. An epic show!!!โ€
