It’s that time of the year where you start planning who you want to see at Boardmasters 2025.. let us help you!
Boardmasters 2025 is just around the corner and we’re gearing up for another epic week of music, surf, skate, and sunsets. As the festivals official music media partner allow us to help you with creating your schedules for the festival. Here are just SOME artists we cannot wait to see at this year’s Boardmasters Festival.
Rizzle Kicks

Rizzle Kicks first made their way to the scene and into our hearts back in 2011 with their daringly infectious and vibrant debut ‘Stereo Typical‘. The LP included their hit songs ‘Mama Do The Hump’, ‘Get Down With The Trumpets’, and ‘When I Was A Youngster’. Since then, the band released two more LP’s, starred in Star Wars and now they make their almighty return to the stage and airwaves. Latest single ‘Follow Excitement!’ featuring Rachel chinouriri brings back that upbeat sound they became famous for, injecting a bit of positivity back into the world a decade later.
Fat Dog

These absolute rare breeds have become known for their high octane performances that fuse almost every genre into one sound, creating something that is overwhelming, chaotic, and undoubtedly FUN. The musicianship on offer is nothing short of genius and the stage presence is undeniably captivating, if not gripping. Fat Dog demand your attention and you absolutely should be giving it to them.
Wet Leg

If you’ve not heard of Wet Leg by now then there really isn’t much we can do to be honest. They’re arguably one of the largest bands on the planet right now. They exploded to success almost out of nowhere with their infectious singles ‘Chaise Lounge’ and ‘Wet Dream’, both tracks amassing hundreds of millions of streams. This led to the debut album self titled album winning 3 Grammy’s and a litany of other awards. After this the band toured with artists such as Harry Styles and then disappeared. Until today, 3-4 years later with their sophomore album ‘Moisturizer’ an album that shows the bands growing sound and maturity, whilst highlighting the best and most infectious parts of their music. This is going to be a really special treat at this years Boardmasters.
Deadletter

The post-punk outfit has had heavy rotation on BBC Radio 6 Music, especially around the release of their daring debut ‘Hysterical Strength’. An LP that featured their most popular track ‘Binge’. Their blend of poignant, tongue-in-cheek observational lyricism mixed with hook laden guitar lines makes Deadletter a delightful, if not thought provoking listen. Expect a highly energetic set that will have the Modros stage absolutely bouncing.
Bob Vylan

An artist that has been causing a bit of a stir recently, you may have heard? The punk dup Bob Vylan are making their return to the festival this year for one of their few remaining (if not only) festival sets. Expect a politically charged set that will almost certainly make headlines again. Cornwall Live are absolutely foaming at the mouth right now..
Outside of the contriversy though, Bob Vylan are one of the most energetic and important punk outfits around right now. Sonically their set is an angst riddled performance that is brimming with cathartic energy.
Luvcat

Luvcat has been on a world dominating mission in the past year. She’s conquered social media, which is where she has built a large and unyielding audience. Now, she dominates the line up’s of festivals, in preparation for an inevitable mainstage slot for 2026. Singles such as ‘He’s My Man’ and ‘Matador’ have amassed tens of millions of streams and the announcement of her debut album ‘Vicious Delicious’ has people lined up to invest in this emerging artist. The blending of theatrical romance mixed with the commanding energy of Luvcat is taking the world by storm. This is a very rare opportunity to see Luvcat and probably the last time before she hits main stages across the world.
Sports Team

New wave indie royalty Sports Team take to Boardmasters for the first time this year and we are incredibly excited to see them. Fun fact, this is a sort of homecoming show as guitarist Henry Young is from Cornwall. Anyways, the band first blew up with their debut album ‘Deep Down Happy’ which included hit single ‘Here’s the Thing’, an anthemic number that is riddled in irony, but poignant nonetheless. Their most recent album ‘Boys These Days’ continues their upbeat, percussion driven (thanks to brilliant Al Greenwood on the skins) and of course, frontman Alex Rice continues to be a cheeky chappy. This will be a great show that is NOT to be missed at this years Boardmasters Festival.
