Melbourne, Australia’s fledgling band ‘Permanent Resident have shared their striking debut single ‘Ashes For Dreams’
The fledgling indie rock outfit have come out swinging with their debut single ‘Ashes For Dreams’, a classic indie track that has all the elements to craft a daringly infectious release. Melbourne’s Permanent Resident have taken no prisoners with this release which will likely solidify them as one of the most exciting new acts from the country.
Opening with a subtle guitar line that quickly envelopes into cascading indie track, driven forward by soft, yet commanding vocals. As the track gains momentum as does to the ferocity and energy, culminating towards the emotive chorus that is brilliantly impactful. ‘Ashes For Dreams’ is a fantastic start for this new band, starting strong and setting a tone for future releases. If the quality stays of this calibre then we will no doubt be hearing a LOT more of this band in the future, we watch with great anticipation.
