Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs announce new album ‘Death Hilarious’ and drop new single ‘Stitches’
Ever since their inception, Newcastle’s Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs have consistently dropped critically acclaimed stoner metal albums over the last 7 years. They will be continuing this trend with their recently announced album ‘Death Hilarious’, dropping on 4th April via Rocket Recordings.
Accompanying this, the quintet have dropped the single ‘Stiches’, alongside a truly jarring music video from Ben Faircloth, filled with gore and off-putting visuals, a compliment to the aggressive and surreal music that the band is heralded for.
Moving on from their 2023 release ‘Land of Sleeper’, Pigsx7 have decided to step in a somehow more belligerent direction in an attempt to bring their violent live performances to the studio. However, ‘Stitches’ goes to show that the band are also entertaining sensitive new themes of doubt and anxiety to their writing. With this, as well as a collaboration with iconic hip-hop name El-P from Run The Jewels on the record, Pigsx7 are telling us that they’re not slowing down anytime soon.
New album ‘Death Hilarious’ is out on 4th April via Rocket Recordings.
