Recorded with producer Chris Woodhouse (Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall), ‘Mamba’ย explores themes of self-inflicted isolation, working-class hopelessness, and the emotional damage of technology addiction.ย โMost of these new songs came from taking in whatโs going on in the world today, and being afraid of the future weโre headed toward,โ notes Garett van der Spek, the L.A.-based singer/songwriter behind Prism Tats.
In addition to this he has also released the single and video for ‘Daggers’, taken from the forthcoming LP the track is a menacing garage rock track that has an insatiable pace. The video that accompanies is also worthy of note due to its comedic style, similar to a Tim and Eric sketch.
