Rujen, the band hailing from Atlanta, USA have built a strong following in their hometown. Now they search for a wider audience with their new single ‘Tarot’, a rambling psychedelic indie number.
The band manage to blend the infectious, foot stomping sensibility of indie rock and the far-out signals of psychedlia. It’s a pairing that creates a wonderfully spaced out soundscape that is draped in tranquility.
‘Tarot’ personifies this as ethereal synths and rambling guitars clash with soulful vocals. All the while wailing guitars dance eloquently in the backdrop. It really is a pleasurable track that offers something new each listen.
