Norway is going through a boom in regards to music, a huge flurry of dynamic and unique artists are flooding out of the Fjords. One said artist is Simen Mitlid who’s Nordic indie-folk is mesmerizingly beautiful.
His latest single ‘Saturday’ is a tranquil track that boasts his soft, harmonious vocals. Although from a cold country Simen has the ability to create music with incredible warmth. The gentle plucks of the guitar draw the listener in and is almost spellbinding. It’s a beautiful experience and one that has you coming back for more, each listen opening another element of beauty. For fans of the likes of Sufjan Stevens, Ben Howard and Fleet Foxes this is a must add to your catalogue.
