With live music finally back in the UK, South Facing Festival is hosting some of the hottest artists across August

Kicking off this Friday (6th August 2021), South Facing Festival will grace Crystal Palace Park, marking 50 years since the Crystal Palace Bowl started hosting legendary live musicians. Following in the footsteps of Pink Floyd, Elton John, Curtis Mayfield and The Cure, a range of diverse musicians will be playing the iconic South London venue from August 6th until August 29th.

Masego, one of the hottest singers and saxophonists in the Jazz scene at the moment, will headline the first show this Friday, followed by Sleaford Mods on Saturday and a triple headline event of Corinne Bailey Rae, Cymande and Soul II Soul on Sunday 8th August.

The second-weekend headliners compromise of Dizzee Rascal on Saturday 14th and Kruder & Dorfmeister on Sunday 15th August for Worldwide FM’s 5th birthday. Supergrass play the first show of the 3rd weekend of the festival, with The Streets playing both Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd, with a second date being added after the remarkably quick sell out of the initial Saturday show.

The final weekend sees Max Richter headline Saturday 28th August and performances from English National Opera headline either side on Friday 27th and Sunday 29th.

Set up by the brains behind the likes of Wide Awake, Cross The Tracks and Field Day, South Facing is aiming to provide a sustainable weekend of events, even claiming to have almost zero environmental impact on the venue and its surrounding area.

Tickets range from £33.34 to £66.64 and are currently on sale on their website with the exception of the sold-out Saturday 21st date.
