STONE’s latest track ‘NEVER AGAIN’ marks a new chapter in their journey mixing hardcore and punk in a heavy free-for-all
STONE are back in full force with their new single ‘NEVER AGAIN’, a heavy free-for-all track based on the band’s experiences with major label complications.
Stepping into a new chapter, the new track is naturally frenzied and chaotic. The vocals are raw, heavy bass builds into a tense bridge, and the final chorus will leave you breathless. Hardcore and punk inspirations blended into the single only make it feel more earnest and vulnerable amongst the whirring guitars and thrashing drumbeats.
Vocalist Fin Power shares “lyrically the track highlights the emotional journey of turning to sobriety whilst dealing with the fallout of our major label experience. The anger of feeling like a scratch card for the previous label and the feeling of pride that succumbs under the anger drove the writing of the lyrics”.
Returning with their reclaimed autonomy, the year ahead for STONE looks promising.
