With their stamp indelibly marked on the world of indie rock, there’s no denying the sonic prowess of the four lads from Wigan. The four-piece consists of members Alex Moore (Frontman), Scott Concepcion (Guitar), Johnny Cunliffe (Bass), and Ryan Durrans (Drums). Having gained slots supporting the likes of Blossoms to playing TRNSMT and Neighbourhood Festival, the boys are on their way to world domination.

Being hailed as one of the most exciting bands to emerge in the last few years and an almost unstoppable upwards trajectory, it’s safe to say that The Lathums are here to stay.

Contemplative and wonderfully indie-pop, ‘How Beautiful Life Can Be’ shines a light on being appreciative of the simple things in life, taking nothing for granted. Optimistic and wonderfully introspective, this new cut offers a ‘light at the end of the tunnel’ through the use of emotive vocals and an upbeat melody. Reminiscent of the ’80s, the track is a welcome addition to the band’s discography and we can’t wait to see more.

Speaking on the single, Alex explained “Our saddest and loneliest moments can lead to our happiest and most content because we have felt what it is to be down there looking up. It feels like now is the time to appreciate all of the things, big and small, that we’ve missed the most.”

Their upcoming headline tour features appearances at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse and London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town. You can grab tickets here.
