Dublinโ€™s hotly tipped, post-punk five-piece, The Murder Capitalโ€™s debut single โ€˜Feeling Fadesโ€™ is an apocalyptic, violent and sinister sounding release. Joy Divisionโ€™s musical sentiment meets vocalist James Mcgovernโ€™s bolshy, โ€˜piss and vinegarโ€™, classic punk vocals.

The driving basslines, tribal drums, subtle guitar licks and repeated vocal themes seem to stem from urban decay, a product of the environment that created them.

Any fans of the new wave of post-punk bands like IDLES, fellow Dubliners Fontaines D.C or Shame will be in their element here, an essential listen from a deservedly โ€˜tipped for big thingsโ€™ band.
