Montreal, Canada based alternative psychedelic surf rock/punk single act Venus Furs has released the latest single ‘Paranoia’, taken from his upcoming self-titled LP to be released on July 10th. Regarding the accompanied video, the director said “At the time of shooting, I felt out of place in my home and in the world, roaming the city at night while feeling more and more isolated.” A mutual feeling most had at the beginning of lockdown, when the video was shot. “This video attempts to capture all those feelings.”
‘Paranoia’ is held close to the heart by Venus Furs. A compelling and open display of mental illness, this track attempts to allows comfort for those struggling. The lyric, accompanied by dominant guitar is a powerful song that only brings positivity into the world with its authenticity.
