Wharves from Lennox Head are one of the most exciting outfits coming out of Australia. Their earlier success includes winning the Triple J Unearthed spot to play Splendour in the Grass, had a highly rated debut EP back in October 2018 and have toured offshore, supporting DZ Deathrays on a tour across Europe and the UK.
Their latest track ‘Nothing Left To Say’ fires straight into an energetic barrage of music. With a funky drum beat, brushing guitar, synth keyboard, and many other instruments underneath vocals speaking of a relationship that is done for and needs no more communication. This music is daydreamy and sweet, something to listen to while you’re on the move.
Wharves look to tour the UK again in 2020, coming back a bit more experienced and hungry as ever, it will be a fun-filled tour that is for sure.
