CLUNK Magazine is made up of a dedicated team of contributors that pride themselves in covering local and national music. Writing about underground music through to established artists. We want to create a place that Cornish music fans can come to read about bands in their town and further afield.

I am incredibly lucky to say that I grew up in Cornwall and although it has its mishaps I love this wonderful county. The one thing that always bothered me that there was no proper music publication based in Cornwall, so I created CLUNK. I want this space to boast the local scene and bring creatives from around the nation to Cornwall. This county is worthy of peopleโ€™s time and soon people will start to take notice.

Growing up in South Wales, CLUNKโ€™s ethos of highlighting the best local talent and bringing established names to harder to reach areas really resonated with me.

Now based in Sydney, I’m leading the development of CLUNK’s Australian audience. I’m working with the best local artists and creating a pathway for them into the UK press. Don’t worry, I’ve still got one eye on the UK’s emerging talent too.

Get in touch if youโ€™re interested in collaborating with CLUNK on some creative ideas!

I started writing for CLUNK while living in Exeter in 2022. After a pretty serious amount of articles and pretending I knew what I was talking about, I was made online editor!

I’m so proud of where CLUNK is right now and it is so exciting to be working with such talented writers, bands and musicians.

I am now living in Bristol, testing my body’s limits at festivals, chatting to bands and exploring the city’s incredible music scene. Come and say hi if you see me at a gig!

Online Sub-Editor

In 2024, I set myself the challenge of writing an article a week for a year and during that year, I was lucky enough to write for CLUNK.

A short while later I was asked to be Online Sub-Editor!  It’s a real privilege to work with such a wide range of creatives who care so deeply about their individual crafts.  I’m currently Bristol-based, but will go anywhere to see my next favourite band!
