The iconic indie outfit are playing a one off show in London for Lido Festival 2026
Lido Festival returns in 2026 in style with the mega announcement of the exclusive one night with Bombay Bicycle Club, who head to Victoria Park this summer to play their iconic ‘I Had The Blues But Shook Them Loose’ album in full (and more). They’ll be joined by special guests Metronomy, plus Alice Phoebe Lou, Billie Marten and Lucy Rose, with more artists to be announced. General sale tickets will be available on Friday 30 January 2026, 10am.
‘I Had The Blue But I Shook Them Loose’ was originally released in 2009 and has become a touchstone record for a generation of indie fans. Released when the band were barely out of school, it was a frenetic, urgent introduction to this exciting young London band, and a record that has long stood the test of time. And now you get to see it live, in it’s entirety as well as a special afternoon performance of their follow up album ‘Flaws’.
This one off show is a must attend during this years busy London summer schedule and marks a huge moment for the bands career.
Speaking on playing Lido Festival the band said: “We had such a great time last summer playing in Victoria Park that when we were asked to come back to headline LIDO, we jumped at the chance.” Adding, “We wanted to do something different as it’s 20 years since we started the band, so we’re going to play our first two albums in full – Flaws in the afternoon and then I Had The Blues in the evening.”
They continue, “These are such important albums to us and the place they both hold in our fans’ hearts has always meant a lot to us. To have the opportunity to revisit some songs we haven’t played in a long time and perform the whole of both albums is something we can’t wait to share with you.”
