The four piece from York explore the truth that lies in the space between two people in a relationship and the understanding that is needed. Their song invites you to follow this promising British Indie Rock band, especially with it being accompanied by a quirky audiovisual. Kai West, bassist, created the video with a bunch of clips from their December 2018 tour (with Canshaker Pi), their time in Amsterdam and some UK gigs, from April, all on a VHS that he bought for only ÂŁ9, an absolute bargain! The video highlights the exquisite ability of their unique songwriting with the lyrics on screen to read a long while listening.
It is easy to vision this, Shins like, song on an independent film due to the combination of quirkiness and their hint to matters of collective consciousness, gender fluidity and the future of peace, love and understanding. Their secret to such talent is concealed with the fact that they are always relentlessly gigging during their releases which encourages their excellence.
