We’re a little bit behind with this one but recently the New York artist Caroline Lazar dropped the single ‘Only One’, taken from her ‘Honey’ EP.
Caroline’s music is deeply honest, tackling her own insecurities with love and life. Within her music there is a level of vulnerability that is overwhelmingly impressive, she lays her self bare for the listener. It’s hauntingly beautiful. The raw songwriting backed by the subtle strokes of her guitar make it totally alluring. Her single ‘Only One’ personifies this atmosphere perfectly, there is a sense of unease through the single, yet it keeps luring you in. Her stunning vocals shine through whilst the raw songwriting takes precedent.
