The National Service Tour, Part 2 sees fresh-faced Brighton-based outfit Welly stomp up the country spreading the word of their suburban storytelling

The National Service Tour Part 2: The North & London will see Welly conquering a whopping nine northern destinations before hurrying back to London town for a final headline gig at the Moth Club. The news comes alongside the earlier release of their new Britpop revival piece ‘Cul-De-Sac’ and their ongoing tour of the south of England; soon enough, the entirety of the England can consider itself thoroughly wellied.

‘Cul-De-Sac’ is exemplary of what Welly are succeeding at bringing back, with that beloved British indie Britpop or ‘Parklife‘ aesthetic being reinvented with their own little spin. Mixing their modern day sense of humour and rhetoric with their 90’s Britpop musical accompaniment creates a sound that is instantaneously infectious and made to be seen live.

It’s fair to say indie disco is back in its truest form; it’s all FILA tracksuits and adidas gazelles again, just like the good old days. Welly are now well and truly on a collision course to the top of the UK indie rankings and this tour is a prime chance to see a band teetering on the edge of mainstream success.

Tickets to the tour can be found here.
