Did a sports journalism degree, write about music instead. Used to sing, now you can find me either at a gig or in the pub in the centre of the universe – Leeds.
Landing with the announcement of their much awaited first EP, ‘Grazer’ is the electrifying new single from all-the-rage South London rockers – Ain’t.
Grungy and dark and filled to the brim with hooky harmonies and headbopper guitar lines, ‘Grazer’ is just a snippet – at just over two minutes – of what the group are capable of.
Shoegaze, with all the sleeve-worn 90s slacker-rock influences you like as well as screaming yet welcome similarities to some of their London alt-rock counterparts. It is quite an epic 150 seconds of sounds.
Championed by the NME and So Young, supporting the likes of The Belair Lip Bombs and Sunflower Bean – Ain’t are worth the buzz.
Receiving a physical release via Dinked Editions’ ‘Early Doors’ run – this ain’t the last time you’ll hear the name Ain’t.
Ain’t‘s E.P, ‘How They Faked The Moon Landing‘ will be released on the 22nd May.
