‘One Track Mind’ is an anthem for introverts and a reminder to everyone else why Glom are one of the bands currently tearing up New York.

Glom are a rock band based in New York and are fronted by guitarist and vocalist Sean Dunnevant, who you may have seen online posting his infectious riff to the band’s song ‘Glass‘, which spearheaded Glom’s debut album ‘Below’ and released in January of this year.

Now Glom return with their latest track ‘One Track Mind’, which although apart from the songs on ‘Below’, invites you back into the same introspective world of Glom, painted with angular guitars and sensitive lyrics. Part slowcore and part bubblegrunge, ‘One Track Mind‘ is an intimate depiction of someone carving their own path, whilst being plagued with anxiety and societal pressures.

‘Anxiety. Oh, I want it out of me. I sure hope that God will bless me with a one-track mind. Society. Always washes over me. I sure hope that God will bless me with a one-track mind.’

The chorus thrums against Dunnevant’s voice and drifts between defiant and on the edge of defeat. This is where Glom shine: in the in-between spaces, depicting a spectrum of emotions through alt-rock.
