Aussie favourites Hockey Dad are back to let you all know that summer isn’t quite over yet with their new track – ‘All Hat No Cattle’
Following up from last summer’s ‘Rebuild Repeat’, the duo’s fourth record, and recently independent, comes ‘All Hat No Cattle‘. The track is the lead single from the Wollongong rockers’ upcoming EP, ‘The Clip’ and it is a nostalgia laden indie rock singalong.
Filled with killer riffs, banging beats and the signature swagger that has followed the pair around for the last decade – ‘All Hat No Cattle’ is a smart, sharp and downright fun, everything you want from a band like Hockey Dad.
Longtime touring bassist, Steve Bourke, echoes ‘Ride ‘em Cowboy’ as the front-facing twosome play on, giving an outback twist to the standard of indie rock on display. The guitars refuse to get old; the lyrics are cutting edge and quirky and that outro… just tops it all off.
Summer isn’t over yet folks! Hockey Dad bring you ‘The Clip’ on September 12th to fulfil all your Aussie surf-rock needs.
