SONIC YOUTH LEGEND THURSTON MOORE HEADS DOWN TO HACKNEY'S OSLO THIS SEPTEMBER

There’s an icon in town as Sonic Youth legend Thurston Moore will perform at Oslo Hackney in London, UK, with support from Black feminist punk band Big Joanie on September 13th.

Fresh off the back of his critically acclaimed release Flow Critical Lucidity (including the gorgeous “Sans Limites’ with Stereolab’s Lætitia Sadier & My Bloody Valentine’s Deb Googe), and also 7 years of his record label Daydream Library Series, championing and passing the torch to some of the best new grrrl-fronted bands like HBO’s Irma Vep Devon Ross (more in Vogue), Miami’s multilingual dream pop duo Las Nubes, London’s Schande, and Big Joanie.
