MOULD’s latest track brings the volume down a touch to deliver hard-hitting lyrics that delve into the bleak side of humanity

MOULD are back following their hit 2ndย EP earlier this year, ensuring that the hot streakย doesnโ€™tย stop anytime soon. This single, โ€˜Floatโ€™,ย teases their debut album coming next year inย a very differentย way thanย youโ€™dย expect from the band.ย

โ€˜Floatโ€™ brings the volume that the band usually bring down a touch to bring a slow burner that hits hard. The song does stillย containย the heavy hitsย youโ€™dย normally receive from a MOULDย song,ย but it tones down to let you process the lyricsย youโ€™reย being told.ย

These lyrics deliver a bleak, but unfortunatelyย accurate, outlook on humanity, forcing listeners to delve deep into some neglected parts of the brain. Everyย beatย accompaniesย the lyrics and enforces the hard-hitting feeling of it to the point thatย youย canโ€™tย avoid it.ย

The song gains more of the usual heaviness towards the end to finish off this experience and leave you remembering the way it made you feel for a while after.ย
