My name is Regan and I moved to England two years ago to pursue a postgraduate degree in music business. Iโ€™m an artist manager and journalist now based in Leeds! I absolutely adore so many genres that fuse between post-punk, country-punk, and art-rock.

Thriving on humanity and connection, Night Tapes share single ‘helix’ taken from their anticipated debut album

With three electronic producers living under one roof in South East London, you’re met with a dazzling time capsule of shared experiences, influencing the creation of music that is a true product of its environment.

Night Tapes share that their new single is about meeting someone new for the first time and that immediate feeling of not knowing if it will be the best decision you’ve ever made, or the worst. ‘helix‘ invites listeners into a dreamscape of love that has the power to transform your life completely. Whether that be for better or for worse, ‘helix‘ is the first step you take with your eyes closed, holding so much adrenaline before it comes crashing down and Night Tapes seamlessly capture that vulnerable feeling through every line in the track.

The London-trio exist in a dreamy world that blends ambient portals and dissonant noise, ‘helix‘ is the newest single taken from their upcoming debut album, which will take listeners into the places and sounds of its creation around the globe.

Night Tapes share on ‘helix‘: people do crazy things for love & all we can do is hope that theyโ€™re not attracted to the worst of what they been given. yet, sometimes the wrong person can take us to the right place.”

Upon their anticipated new album, portals//polarities out September 26th, Night Tapes shall embark on a lengthy tour to support the album.
