The Sophs’ latest single ‘I’M YOUR FIEND’ is a collision of raw emotion and searing guitars ahead of their first North American headline tour

Los Angeles six-piece The Sophs return with their exciting new single and video, ‘I’M YOUR FIEND’, ahead of their first-ever North American headline tour, that kicked off on October 28th in San Francisco.

Frontman Ethan Ramon describes the track as “The Sophs at our most manic. It’s frenetic declarations of love and lust under a blanket of static so thick it feels like your DIRECTV satellite just got hit by lightning in the middle of your favorite show.”

The new track follows the band’s string of bold releases including ‘SWEAT’, ‘DEATH IN THE FAMILY’, and a feverish cover of Mac DeMarco’s ‘For The First Time’. Alongside the single, The Sophs have announced a full UK headline tour for April 2026, including a date at London’s iconic 100 Club.
